Moscow court upholds 4 mln rbl fine on Twitter

MOSCOW, Mar 16 (PRIME) -- The Tagansky District Court of Moscow ruled on Monday that a 4 million ruble fine imposed on Twitter for non-provision of information on localization of bases with personal data of Russian users is legal.

The communications service opened cases against Twitter and Facebook on January 31 for ignoring its request to share information on localization of databases.

In February, the court fined the both companies 4 million rubles each.
